Newfoundland and Labrador has conducted its third immigration draw of the month and the 15th of 2026.
In the latest Newfoundland and Labrador PNP draw a total of 62 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) through the new EOI System. Of these, 61 were issued through the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP) and 1 from the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP).
However, the federal government allocated an additional 1,000 economic immigration spaces to Newfoundland and Labrador in 2026. It is allocated to the NLPNP, increasing its annual quota to 2,379.

About the Newfoundland and Labrador PNP
Newfoundland and Labrador PNP facilitates two economic immigration pathways.
These programs help qualified professionals, entrepreneurs and international graduates settle permanently in Newfoundland and Labrador with their friends and family and apply for a Canadian PR visa.
These programs also assist NLPNP employers to address labour market requirements.
Enhanced Expression of Interest (EOI) System
On February 19, 2025, the province’s updated Expression of Interest (EOI) system. It is now the mandatory step for the qualified applicants under the NLPNP and AIP.
Important characteristics include:
- The Immigration Accelerator platform is required for the submission of EOIs.
- An invite code from an employer in Newfoundland and Labrador is required for applicants from outside Canada.
- An invite code is not necessary for people in Canada who have legitimate temporary status.EOIs remain valid for 12 months.
- Candidates who are selected have sixty days to submit their complete application.
Candidates must fulfill all requirements, but nomination is not automatically guaranteed by getting an ITA.
